Entertaiment – euphoric feeling in which we forget all our problems and wish that the moment would never end, just last forever.
Entertainment is a force that can bring joy and stimulate learning, but also has the potential to have negative impacts if not properly regulated. The word ‘entertainment’ derives from the Medieval Latin word intertenere, meaning “to hold inside,” which itself is derived from the Latin root tenere, meaning to stretch or extend. As a result, what may appear as entertainment to one person or group of people might be regarded as work or even an act of cruelty by another. Nevertheless, the familiar forms of entertainment have proven to have extraordinary longevity and flexibility.
