Collocations of Entertaiment

Entertaiment

Entertaiment is audience-centered commercial culture that keeps individuals amused, engaged, and diverted. It encompasses a wide range of activities from low-brow amusements to elaborate performances and embodies an enormously diverse set of forms, genres, media, and products. It can be personalized for an individual, group, or community, and it can cross over multiple media to create shared meaning and socially constructed experiences. The collection highlights the way that entertainment has become more transmedia and global in nature, with many familiar themes and images able to transcend a single medium.
